Question about renting?

about 3 or 4 months I got evicted from my apartment complex as a result of not being able to pay the rent because I lost my job. I got an invoice on how much I owe them but I havent been taken to court. I was wondering since I havent gone to court do I have as much to worry about when my credit is checked when I apply for a new place?
