How are royalty STILL allowed to discount illegitimate children, why is it tolerated in modern times?

Children should be born in wedlock in order to have the moral fiber necessary to lead a nation. I'm sorry but with all that is going on in the world we don't need to dilute the monarchy to pander to society's decadence. Either they are legitimate or we do away with the monarchy altogether. Let people go at it like dogs if they wish but I refuse to have a king on the throne that is not the product of a proper marriage. How else are they supposed to lead the church without being hypocritical???
