Is it possible that the fact that muslims can read kfr on dajjals forehead a metaphor?

It says muslims can read it regardless of their literacy.... So whether one can read or not they know it says kafir, is it possible it could be a metaphor that real muslims will be aware of the fact that he is a false prophet? Like subconciously? Rather than literally reading it on his forehead? May be it was meant to be a metaphor..?
