Highways construction?

Hi guys i have been invited for an interview as a Highways Inspector role and i am looking for good websites or documents that can provide me details of construction methods (footway and carriageway) about layers and helpfull diagrammes. Please let me know if any of you aware of any kind of website and documents etc. I have checked few website but not very help full. Please help.
