Are atheists aware of the one sin for which there is simply no forgiveness? Is it wise to commit it constantly?

Lo! Allah [God] forgiveth not that a partner should be ascribed unto Him. He forgiveth (all) save that to whom He will. Whoso ascribeth partners to Allah [God] , he hath indeed invented a tremendous sin. (48)
